If you believe that you’re your child’s first and best teacher, then you’re at the right place. We’re a family based in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia (often shuttling to my Singapore home), and are taking the homeschooling route to about 5 years old. We embrace early right brain education based on Prof Shichida’s teachings — built on a foundation of strong emotional connection between parent(s) and the child, to facilitate learning and development. We also love the Montessori Method, the crux of which is to observe the child and prepare the environment to allow him to learn independently. By harnessing the amazing abilities of the human brain, we aim to raise children who have BIG dreams to build a sustainable and better world. . The good thing about homeschooling preschool is that I get a longer stretch of time at home by cutting off traveling time. And the young kids get to watch how I get the house ready and learn too. It’s […]Read More [Educational toys] Gigo Junior Engineer & Story Line January 13, 2017 During the final 2 weeks of the school holidays, we were busy visiting Singapore and Taipei, Taiwan. Yet at home, he can be talkative and loud at […]Read More Jae turns 5 years old November 7, 2016 #2 Jae is my first baby with whom I started doing right brain home practice while pregnant.
